I see your point. But I see a lot of black gay men in 'ships. A lot of them are getting married. A lot of the ones you see are alone for a reason that has nothing to do with obstacles because they are getting something from somewhere regardless of being without. And white men do the same thing. This is beyond race it's a mentality that is colorless. Gay men love to play up the picky stereotype. They have all of these standards for a relationship that they don't even fit. So they are left with no one to date and they won't date each other because they look down on each other for some petty ass reason like Too fem. But they are not above fucking these people below their standards. It's some group think crap but there are good men out there you just have to get out there and make yourself irresistible by being a well rounded person. People are drawn to people who have status and desire. And be realistic. I mean, you can't be saying you want an Ashton Kutcher looking like Gary coleman. You hit the nail on the head. You have to be realistic in terms of what you have to bring to the table. A lot of gay men that I know are conceited and delusional to the point where it becomes like a repellent. They inadvertently close the door to a potentially healthy relationship and/or friendship with someone because they don't meet the standards or qualifications of what they find attractive. No one wants to be around someone like that. Being gay is hard enough and you at least want to have some compatibility with the person by finding someone who's less superficial and more down to earth.
Yeah. Unfortunately, the basis of it is self hate. They are not genuinely ok with their sexual orientation. That's why the straight guy is so alluring. He's normal. He's a man.
