The model, 32, slammed the beauty giant last week for its post in support of Black Lives Matter, pointing out that she was fired for speaking up against racism after the white supremacy rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.
"You dropped me from a campaign in 2017 and threw me to the wolves for speaking out about racism and white supremacy. With no duty of care, without a second thought," Bergdorf said, in part, on Twitter last week.
"I had to fend for myself being torn apart by the world's press because YOU didn't want to talk about racism. You do NOT get to do this. This is NOT okay, not even in the slightest."
However, on Tuesday, the transgender activist announced she is joining L'Oréal Paris UK's newly-formed diversity and inclusion advisory board.
"Thank you everyone for having my back with this matter over the past three years, it hasn't been easy. Looking forward to new beginnings and a new positive relationship with the L'Oreal team," Bergdorf wrote on her Instagram, explaining that she spoke with L'Oréal Paris president Delphine Viguier, who was appointed in 2019, and had an "open and constructive" conversation.
Bergdorf also announced that the company will donate €25,000 to Mermaids and €25,000 to UK Black Pride, two organizations that support people of all genders, sexualities and identities.
Viguier herself wrote a lengthy message on the company's Instagram.
"I regret the lack of dialogue and support the company showed Munroe around the time of the termination. We should have also done more to create a conversation for change as we are now doing," the caption read, in part.
"We support Munroe's fight against systemic racism and as a company we are committed to work to dismantle such systems."
