Ellen said nothing wrong, because Sofia Vergara clearly exaggerates her accent and her lack of English fluency. She has been in the US for damn near 25 years, and is rich, so I am sure she always had great tutors. Shakira is from the same country and city as her and spends much less time in the US and has a normal accent of a native Spanish speaker, speaking English.

It's clearly an act at this point
nobody cared about this until ellen started coming under fire. and its obvious sofia didnt mind it either cause she kept going back on the show time and time again.
