i loved this
QuoteFor this interview we wanted to give the fans a more intimate setting interview, where Brandy would feel comfortable and really speak more in detail regarding the project. For Brandy, that wouldn't be a video interview. After a few set-backs, we were able to conduct one of the best interviews we've done, with one of our absolute favorites. Coined by Brandy herself, as a conversation.
One of the things we didn't ask in the interview, we wanted to make clear. There will be a follow-up single and visual to "Borderline." This album for Brandy is true labor of love, and she intends to give this era everything she can!
Tishelle from UB spoke to the "vocal bible" last week, as she was preparing to head to the studio. Brandy was candid and opened up with us about many things. Including the process it took for her to complete "b7," how she developed her confidence for songwriting and she tells us the song that took the longest to record, and why.
Brandy shares her experience with mental health and gives advice to those suffering. She also gets candid on her sound and creativity, when others bit her style she tells us how she found another way. Brandy speaks on Black Lives Matter & the murders of George Floyd and Brianna Taylor and explains to us why love is the answer.
If that's not enough, we also take questions from the Starz. Plus Brandy plays the UBLyric Game and shares with us what she misses most about the late great Whitney Houston.
U better write bye bipolar & no tomorrow from top to bottom.
:supluv:
Thank ya, I've been looking forward to this.
Cute interview. A couple questions were good. The rest were fluff as usual.
Any good questions? Is this the one rig was talking about ?
Thank you Carey!!

Ooooh someone asked her which song was the longest to record
:ohwow:
This was a great interview
B7 is really a magical band divine experience
:stressed:
Can someone tell me if she really digs into what's been going on with her in this? Or is she still being vague?

Cute I guess lol @ climbing the mountains listening to b7 smh
Loved every bit of this interview and it's great to hear her finally elaborate on certain heavier topics. I love what she had to say about Bipolar disorder and how it relates to Artists like her and Coko from SWV
