I think a lot of people are trying to garner a certain level of attention so they can do a Verzuz, but Faith is more than worthy either way of course.

And I feel you but Nostalgia is something i can't get enough of these days. Especially in this crazy ass year

So was Faith a big artist in like NY or Cali? I just don't remember her ever being huge in the South... people liked her, and she definitely had plenty of fans but the only song of hers I remember being played a lot on the radio was Never Gonna Let You Go.

I mean..... It's a legit question.  I feel like she had to be huge somewhere bc I keep seeing people wanting her to battle MJB and i'm confused by it.  I have all her albums up to Something about Faith and I love her voice but I just don't see how people think she can battle MJB.

Y'all acting like I'm saying the woman was on tinashe level or something. I like Faith and own all her albums up to something about faith. I just don't remember hearing her a lot in Chicago or Mississippi.

Faith can definitely slay a verzuz

i wouldn't match her up with Mary though. That would be bad press cuz Mary would EAT after a while

I don't think she wanted to be a star. She has like 3 or 4 kids. Her family has always come first. She has a lot of writing credits anyway. Some people just want to sing, not blow up and be an international star. Mary J doesn't want kids, stays recording, touring, doing this project or the other. That takes a lot of dedication.

Na she was successful here...I was just confused by people saying she was successful enough to battle Mary in verzuz. Faith definitely has fans here though

Mary used to say she wanted 6 kids before she married Kendu ugly ass. I think he got the snip during his last marriage before he married Mary.
