NO TOMORROW
This never-ending hook. Well maybe it will get stuck in people's heads :dead:
This working ass bitch. :gorlonfire:
Well this is one I wanted AFTER Rather Be so I'm not necessarily mad but I'm mad because UGH! Ugh Baby mama and this wasted ass video smh
Ugh I knew she'd choose this ... wish it was rather be or say something but I guess it's maybe the most repetitive radio friendly song? Idk it's missing something for me .
No tomorrow was INSTANTLY the song I listened to and loved 1st so I think it's definitely a good single but smh
She actually choose a single I wanted wow

Guys this is such a good choice tho. It's so short and sweet and it has MAJOR replay value because of that, Ugh! :gorlonfire:
I'm excited. I think this will do well :gorlonfire:
No Tomorrow isn't my fave on the album. However, this song will do very well on the radio and streaming. The "I'm gon blow your phone up" is super catchy and the younger generation will eat this up. It should be sent to Hip Hip and Pop stations too. She's probably going with Say Something and Rather Be to end this era.
She must be performing Borderline and No Tomorrow at the BB Awards.
as long as we gettin singles i'm fine lol she can pick whatever song she wants drftgyh and make cute videos
Yeah I think this will do well with the basic listener who struggles to understand or appreciate her more complicated and intricate songs. I find it to be annoyingly repetitive but I think that will play to its benefit on the radio at least.

well i mean the considered potential singles on the album are equally worth it so i dont care if she chooses to release Rather be or Not Tomorrow or I Am More (which IMO is not single worthy! but hey!) as long as i get a 3rd single or more
i'm fine with that
This interview was beautiful
the praise was so beautiful to see
Im loving the space Bran is in; truly

Rather Be was the clear choice...
I wanted Rather Be for third and No Tomorrow or Say Something for fourth, but I'm happy, it's a good choice.

I am More is actually my low-key favorite right Now! But yea, not before NT, RB, and SS
I am just happy there's another official single and video on the way. Fingers crossed there are still follow up singles coming too because Rather Be, Say Something and Lucid Dreams all need videos
The 1st time I heard that snippet of No Tomorrow, I wanted it to be a single. I low key wish it was the very 1st single and if I was on her team, it woulda went 1st. Its the most radio friendly song on the album. I would love a remix though. I hope they get creative with the music video.
I was rooting for Rather Be, but No Tomorrow is the next best choice.
I hope they release a remix to it for the deluxe
Now I'ma need Brandy's team to lay off these interview bookings and focus more on booking performances or getting her to do some shit to upload to her TY channel. Get her booked w/ Tiny Desk. Shit, even the Terrell Show. These lil zoom interviews are tired now and arent really reaching the masses.

!!! Borderline as a single still doesn't do much for me though. Its just too much for the GP to get. Rather Be and No Tomorrow got 1 thing in common - after u listen to it the 1st time, u can at least sing the chorus in full. They are more easily digested. But yh, No Tomorrow shoulda def been 1st and then remixes could follow after.
I get why Borderline was released 2nd though - its a good contender for a Grammy.
For me, it would be No Tomorrow, Rather Be then Say Something. Borderline can get a music video too, but not pushed as a single. It can get a Forgive Me (Chloe x Halle) or End of Time (Beyonce) treatment.
We're getting a third single. Omg
:stressed:
I wonder if her team has taken a look at which song on B7 is getting the most play. Maybe it's indeed No Tomorrow, but Rather Be is just IT to me!

what kind of fickle...:shannonsmissing:
what kind of change of heart...:welllol:

Anyways, Brandy is so smart and making such a great move with this single choice!
I really wanted Rather Be :fuming: it's so perfect for Fall/Winter.
But this is a good choice as well and would have been my second choice. Casual listeners will get in.
It should be Rather be followed by Say Something but ok Bran
Rather Be needed to be the next single she should've done a poll with the fans to get their input.

Its def right up his alley - it actually sounds like a CB song from his Fame era.
Its not always about what WE like. I prefer Say Something, Rather Be, Borderline over No Tomorrow. The full version was a let down for me. I thought it was gonna be my fave based on the snippet. But its easy to digest. Songs also have to sync up well with other songs played on the radio. No Tomorrow would fit right in. Rather Be will just be another Urban AC song imo. No Tomorrow with a fresh, youthful video and a remix could actually slay.

Idk why I'm lowkey fuming to this decision lol... like girl "Rather Be" was clear af! No Tomorrow could've waited until Breezy gave his remix vocals

And no offense but it sounds like it - it's basic AF.
Rather Be was a teaser single and was received really well. I'm curious why they didn't move forward with it because it's a perfect radio song for urban and urban ac. Perfect length, easy lightning, and catchy.
Say Something would be a good choice because she could really lean into the urban ac market after Borderline.
Smh she and her team have a terrible ear when it comes to single selection. However this is one of the popular tracks on Apple Music and Say Something isn't.
No Tomorrow is super catchy and I think it will do very well. Baby Mama got to #7 on the Billboard R&B chart so "No Tomorrow" should for sure past that.
No Tomorrow is in the top 5 for most watched audio videos on YouTube for non-singles. The order is below.
Saving All My Love
Rather Be
Say Something
No Tomorrow
For Bye Bipolar she just had to get that f*ck you Ryan song out. I really don't think she'll ever perform it or release it as a single.

Its simply goin back to what we said earlier. Its not about how YOU feel about the song. We all agree it gets repititive but its about what works for OTHER people and the sound that fits radio. Songs nowadays r short (2 verses) and the chorus looped multiple times - no bridges. Case in point, Do It by Chloe x Halle. 2 verses and the chorus looped at the end. The structure of Rather Be is the same (the beat just changes at the end instead).

I do agree that Rather Be has the cozy/romantic feel to it and it's perfect for the coming season
Maybe she can still do something for that too
I'd also love a Christmas single
This is a great song and single though
I hood the video slayyyyys :stressed:
colurful, fun, youthful, timeless
Idk if it's okay to post but there is a No Tomorrow remix floating around the internet with Ty Dolla Sign
Now WAIT! :omgwatshappening:

Baby...................
I do enjoy the minimalism of the original version though. The original >>>>
With that being said, I do like part II.

Period. This sounds cluttered and he just doesn't really do it for me in general fr

Hopefully the original version is a single, and they throw this version out there when the original starts to die out.

Ok pie in my face! She did go in and add a lil something to it and add a feature which we asked for lol it does sound better cuz that chorus repeating 50 times wasn't really moving me.
I mean the song just isn't anything great.. TY did what he could! I like the idea of TY and Bran together hopefully they've created something fresh together from scratch
"No Tomorrow" is perfect for radio and the social media generation (Generation Z).
Generation Z loves songs that have catchy phrases and the start of the song will be quoted all over IG and Twitter if she releases the original version as the single.
Frank needs to come up with a dope video and this song could go far for her since it's short and catchy. It is doing well on streaming sites already.
the blend between Ty & Bran there sounds a fool
please just do the original Bran
It doesn't sound too bad in the car but I would probably use if Ty actually rode the beat. He's behind and that just doesn't WORK for this tune
That remix is disgusting and I'll never listen to it again. I hope she does not push this. They don't need to be harmonizing and he shouldn't even be singing. His voice sounds weak, like he runs out of breath. A rap hook with some ad libs would work much better.
This remix wasn't necessary but if they insisted on a remix I would've preferred Khalid or Miguel or someone of the sorts that can actually carry a decent male vocal. also the added harmonies in the beginning weren't needed. The bareness of the first chorus was great in the original.
hopefully this does what it needs to do. I'm not the best at judging what this new generation likes so we shall see
Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Wtf is this :uhh:
This aint it. Not fuckin Ty.
And Im sorry but Im startin to question Bran's ear for harmonies and vocal stacks since B7. There used to be a time when I could "no ad lib, run or vocal stack out of place", but nowadays, it seems like she be doing too much sometimes. I dont mind Ty on the 2nd verse but everything after the chorus kicks back in is a mess. And they cut out the ad libs at the end I love so much.
This is prob what they plan on pushin to radio and I aint here for it. CB or Khalid woulda been better.
:udontlookok:
why is tyrell dollar sign trying to sing and harmonize with bran.. NO MAAM it sounds unfinished

The last three single/video we had was "Have You Ever?"
:19k:
In Bran's defense, Afro had three videos and Afro was a single overseas.
AND technically we got 3 videos and songs that were promoted in 2012 if you include IABTM
Are you outtta your mind?
:omgwatshappening:
:uhh: I thought you loved that with your coveted mermaid bop
I do.
But I don't associate it with Two Eleven.
:usureuok:
Part II could be good, if they mix it properly.
I'm not into the extra harmonies at the beginning and Ty singing it's disgusting, I'm sorry.
