Madonna really impressed me with Ray Of Light. Her voice, her discipline, her courage, her vulnerability and her brilliance. She went and and found a producer that was a recluse and unknown and brought him to glory. Listening to it now with the way the world is ...such a good feeling. She worked really hard in Evita to improve upon her voice.. she knew it wasn't as strong although she already had become a star at that point. She really put in the work. Those songs on that album are absolutely stunning.
