Title: What are your views on Pan Africanism?
Post by: jtwoeleven on December 20, 2020, 09:15:54 AM
Particularly with regard to black LGBT folks. Do you feel that it affirms them, centers them, offers them special protections?

Well queer pan-Africanism is emerging and gaining wind so yes I do think it affirms them.
The old conservative pan-Africansim that was headed up by African politicians and leaders is slowly crumbling away and it's being modernised.
Everyone is beginning to re-claim the fact that Africa is the oldest, most diverse place on earth it's the birthplace of civilisation, morality and humanness so the movement should claim and affirm everyone that came from there

I can't stand it when Gayden acts like he knows something.

I can't believe you are west African in the UK with no degree. How disgraceful.

I wasn't aware of that. Sounds like groups are creating new branches to suit their specific needs and wants. The only gay Pan African I know of is Dr. Cleo Menago, tho he rejects the "gay" label, and prefers same gender loving, a trend I'm seeing among more black gay men.
