I'm glad we can still praise her worst era like this. What a damn Queen.
I love this song
:stressed:
Love this era and the vocals. Her first prime before this current one lolz
:blessed:
I still place FM vocals above this but Human is a close second. Camouflage ALONE>>>>>>
Praise the album if you want but b7 vocals ain't even close to this :dead:

Ugh what happened to her voice!!!!! I really miss her singing like this LIVE :( this tone , these brandy isms , no filters
I think part of it's that granny j blige filter camper put on her voice. Her census vocals were really good so I don't think it's gone or anything. She probably smoked a lot of weed during the b7 recording process which made her sound less clean as well.

it's the raw untouched vocals for me
Ugh I MISS this tone :stressed:
I don't even really like this song but her voice here is just ugh.
I hope she can recapture this a bit on her next mess.
B7 has exalted all of her previous eras and vocals
There was a color and richness and power she had during this era i honestly dont hear on other albums lol
for 211 she had a bit of toni braxton sultryness going on
but as she ages of course shes losing her natural resonance in her head voice cause her chest voice is kinda taking over
this is what is birthing this new baby talk vocal she has whenever she interprets her older songs or trys to go back to a previous era voice
Like i really feel todays brandy cannot record Do you know from 2 11 and still make it work (as if she was re recording it from that era) because of the vocal changes
with Saving all my love
she originally recorded it with her natural voice
then later made it in to the voice she thinks ppul want to hear which is lighter and breathier but her vocals when shes not trying to do that slays to me so iono
I'm sorry but Human is a VIBE :plzstop:
Love that album

the last three runs on freedom will forever haunt me.
They are literally the purest, most heavenly runs I have ever heard. I was and still obsessed with them.
Human has those light, airy runs that I haven't heard much on her others works. Just divine.
Probably my favorite brandy era/album
