I don't think my mom has ever moved on from the debut, she still plays it to this day. Funny cause my mom only played 5 albums my whole life and Brandy is one of them lol

yea, my parents only know the debut. They know later "singles", but ALBUMS is a totally different convo.
My mom was the one who got me into brandy.
I used to ask her to play that "sunny song" cause I that was my fav as a kid.
I don't think she really listens to the other albums but she has always supported bran and loved how she was a child star who grew up the right way and didn't turn to drugs and such like a lot of child stars like Lindsay Lohan etc

My mom loves her. But only her earlier stuff. NSN is an album she listened to a lot. She stole the CD from her younger brother lol and we would listen to it all the time. Thats really how I got into Brandy. She knows some songs from Afrodisiac.

My mom Kinda discovered brandy on her own
i mean yeah i was always talking about it lol and she knew a few songs here and there
but she was researching on youtube and started listening to all the unreleased and bathroom bangers
and then iit all belongs to me came after that
My mom (like me) really started paying attention to Brandy around 2002, even though we liked her singles prior. My mom cleans to music and nabbed Full Moon from me and fell in love. I had to ask for my cd back 😂. She missed the Afrodisiac and Human eras, but got back in for 211. She actually just fussed me out a few weeks ago because I didn't tell her about the Pandora concert, but she watched it on YouTube, so she still in for B7. She LOVES "No Tomorrow."

Full Moon: She hates this album with an extreme passion (mainly because I dogged it)
Afrodisiac: She's indifferent, but she often sings Afrodisiac and loves the vocal exercises at the beginning of the track) lol
Human: She doesn't even know this album exists lol
Two Eleven: She loves Put it Down and Without You.
b7: She hates the high notes on Lucid Dreams, hates High Heels and hates I AM More. Borderline is her mess though.
