At the bottom. this concept would LASH!!!
Ugh this new management and the way they're interacting with the fans and taking ideas
:loose2when:
Fuck
Omffff
Time for some mess!
Come through Ghan and management :stressed:
I said the Mississippi thing yesterday
Fuck it! I'll jumps the gun & say it!
Jeff >
Come through Jeff!! I think it would be dope and generate even more buzz with this type of video like paying respect to that scene/movie
That would be EPIC!!! Juke Joint Mess
nnn oh god no
i think it would be interesting to play out the video on "Broadway", during a number on stage.
Telling a mini story.
But I don't know.
They'd be foolish not to play up the Color Purple theme
Havent read it all, but do u guys think Jeff is planning the video?
If so, one has to wonder...... why wasnt it planned weeks ago if they already knew they were gonna release it and the song was fire?

n
not really. just be a fan and enjoy the music.
Right
Stop asking questions no one has answers to, sit and enjoy the music like everyone else :uhh:
If we didn't know the song was coming, why would we know why they didn't shoot the video
Jeez
I definitely think this song was released to see what sort of buzz she can get. Bran doesn't usually go so hard for "gifts" to the fans. For example, when "How High" was released, it was made obvious it's just a gift for the fans. There wasn't as much of a push on her social media for it. And I don't think the slip up at TCA event when she said "single" was an accident.

Brandy always had great management. It was just the music that wasn't catching on. The wrong singles and stuff.

mmm I think it's a mix of both. I think she ventured too far off from the international pop 'n'b sound that made her blow up. But I also think her team got lazy. She began to lose faith and carry a "I give up" attitude and I'm sorry but if the person your managing has that aura to them, you're going to have it too.

If they doing a video they need to put the song on iTunes now!! And record the video in the next week . Time is of the essence

Capitalize on the buzz!!!
If we do get a video I want something sexy not a reenactment of Roots :everythingok:
Do you not hear that KNOCK!? I need choreo.

NO. But I'm in no rush to see Brandy swaying in someone's cotton field either :uhh:
Doesn't this song have some kind of sample? Maybe they're clearing that while planning a video...OMG, that would be so awesome I hope...I've gotta say, debuting this song with the premier of her show was one of the greatest Brandy career moves in recent memory. Her team should always cross-promote where they can...woo! I just love this song so much. She finally gave me what I wanted vocally. #GoodGodAlmighty

I wouldn't shed a tear if you got trampled by a herd of elephants. You depressed, stupid faggot.
I just want something creative. Homage to that time period would be dope to me
Or 40's/50's ... Just something different please. Choreo is great too and they can do that too, but "sexy choreo" can be left in the TwoEleven era IMO right along with Frank gatson

As much as i would hope this gets the single treatment, I doubt it
Her video should be a remake of Angela Bassett doing "Fool in Love"
as Tina Turner in "What's Love Got to do with It?"
Yh no need for a roots part 7
She can easily go for a sweaty, sexy, southern, bluesy 60's bar vibe with thisp

Have Laurianne or JaQuel (who stans for the song) on stylized choreography with the concept of a 1960's Mississippi heartbreak story.

!!!! It's BOTH. Her team is a mess, but she never chooses the right second singles....
Nah i don't want something vintage, just something fresh..kinda like Solange would do..maybe only use some of that old school fashion. But not Long Distance style singing a song in a cafe filled with cigar smoking dudes in suites and hats.
G
Yea I'm not here for a color purple slave mess. The song is throwback enough itself. She needs a visual to capture the modern knock and keep it still current.
Yeah I'm scared it will be too musical, like American Dream or what is that show?
Shut up girl
I don't want a throwback type video. That's too typical.
I'd rather her give something more unexpected.
i don't care if there's a video for this song or not
unless it's released a week from now

Was coming in here to say this. That idea for a video in the Color Purple time sounds cute in ones head but...
Its predictable.
NO NO NO to these dated concepts. Been done and done over and over. :dead:
Sor' babes
nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
I kind of agree.
A old school video is always cool, but.... yeah, something unexpected would be better, to surprise the audience once again, it should be epic, tho, not just a few simple shots here and there. It has to stand out for its concept and style
