Time went soo fast, album came and havent read any article talking about his first week, I guess I missed it that week.
Any idea about how it performed exactly?
"The album debuted at number two on the Billboard 200, selling 41,000 copies"
I finally saw it on twitter. Oh man..... this isnt looking promising for any urban/r&b act....
Really hope things change next year, once album releases, it better!

Well Tyrese's first week was much better than Miguel. He did like 70k
Miguel flopped cause he's late now.
I listened to the snippets and all his songs sound alike

i wanna drive ur skull into the ground
Tyrese booked ha
The Frank Ocean shade backfired.
Plus, the albums sucks.
Only song I like is "wave".
Miguel did ok. He's a slow burner seller.
Cute
Miguel never sold big in his first week
Never sold big first week but he always had a big follow up hit. Last time he had Adorn. With a hit record this time around, he's not gonna do much.
It's too early to tell
He just released it

He can thank fast and furious for that.
Its still a book nothenless
In miguels case though, he was always a slow seller, but im not feeling his new music anyway :ohwow:
I dont see F&F playing a major factor in Tyrese's sales. He does have a Urban AC hit and he did announce this album to be his last. It's maybe a combination of all 3 of those things but Miguel sure didnt have anything going on for him this era. I mean, no one thought Ty woulda outsold Mig.
ssssss
King is just... legendary. over 100k selling self.

hadnt thought about that, good point. So his previous album had a similar impact on 1st week too? with Adorn being such a big hit for him, I guess I thought he had a bigger impact at first
just found his 1st week with KD:
Billboard 200: @MiguelUnlimited nabs his best week ever, as Kaleidoscope Dream starts at #3 with 71,000.
Not that big, taking into account Adorn success. Tho going from 71,000 to 40,000 is a big decrease, thats for sure. But as you guys say, the long run is what matter the most, so we'll see
