Degrassi star Jahmil French's co-stars paid tribute to their friend and colleague on social media after telling fans he had died at the age of 29.

The Canadian actor was best known for his role as Dave Turner in the Canadian teen drama series Degrassi: Minis and Degrassi: The Next Generation.


He also appeared in Netflix series Soundtrack and Pop TV series Let's Get Physical.

Jahmil's co-stars led the mourning for the young actor following his reported death, the cause of which remains unknown.
