What would you do if you discovered you are being assigned 30% more work than your colleagues in your department?
Keep performing at that high level and make sure I'm being seen by my superiors in the workplace. expose the other employee at every turn ..professionally though ....

What is you're being assigned a lot more work than other people in your department and there isn't room for promotion.
I'd put focus on building relationships across the organization so my good work can be seen by leadership (not just my boss) and so people can get to know me as a person.
If you're trying to stop getting more work because you think you're being treated unfairly...make a list of all your current responsibilities, take them to your boss, and start a discussion about how your current workload is unmanageable. Then ask if they're open to taking certain tasks off your plate and spread across the team.

Are you comfortable having a conversation with your boss about your workload?
I'm a lecturer at a university and I'm teaching 30 hours per week. While my colleagues are teaching 12-16 hours per week for the exact same money. I just found out the other day and I am fucking pissed and kinda ready to go nuclear on them.
This is some 12 years a slave shit.
If it bothers you that much talk to your boss ...you have to or you'll become resentful, burned out and/or quit altogether bro ....
My boss is talking about how I am a good worker and hinting I am more competent and better look for the company contracted by the university than my colleagues.
I don't want to hear it and am ready to push back.

I'm not trying to leave my job in the middle of a pandemic and the money is good.
I say shine bright like a diamond and stay booked and busy. Fck 12 and 16 hours, can u just ask for a raise?
Chile I'm kicking up a storm.
The head of department is sounding supportive and trying to calm me down but the problem is coming from upper management and the head of my department don't like rocking the boat at all.
If he can't fix this I will go straight to the source.
Depends on the job
Make sure you have all of the facts before you escalate the matter.
It's kinda been resolved. My bosses stroked my ego a bit telling me I'm great at my job mixed with some veiled threats about how we are in a middle of pandemic and they have a ton of applications coming through each day.
