I just wish these didn't feel so sitcom-ish and punchline driven. Idk, i just don't think it's as easy to capture the magic of the past but this trailer made me chuckle a couple times

I also thought this series was going to be the same ole cheesy mess, BUT it's really good and actually demonstrates real life shit that black families go through. Kudos to Wanda Sykes for Executive Producing and starring in it. I was especially cautious when I seen her name tied to it.

i just finished and was impressed its actually funny. yeah mike is the least funny in this show. Wanda is very funny though. I cant wait for season 2. That lil girl at the end has to be the Sons daughter I think lol

Ended up binge watching the whole thing today. Was reallly good. Wanda has always been my fave female comedian. And she really delivered here.
