Title: Brandy’s relationship
Post by: 4everbranfan on May 18, 2021, 12:11:56 PM
I was wondering why Brandy's relationship always ended short, when she has good example of what a good relationship is, at home. Her parents, Sonja and Willie, have been married for over 40 years yet she has had terrible fortune in love.

Reading articles on how your parents relationships affects your life in different ways. Some things, being the ability of being vulnerable, expressing emotions, your own future relationship and more.

One of which, I think is important is accepting abusive behaviour. Normalizing abuse in your own, because you grew up in a toxic household. And from what we've seen it seem, it doesn't seem to be the case. Brandy grew up with two loving parents who supported her.

Also many of her know relationship have ended in similar ways; either cheated on or being treated badly.

My question is: Why as she had such bad luck in love, when she had a good exemple of what a healthy relationship should be growing up?

And where could those issues she has in love stem from?

I would love to hear different opinions on this, especially since you all seem to be very opinionated.

She's human. Shit happens. A lot of the girls who are married or in relationships aren't necessarily happy themselves.

I respect her for leaving unhealthy situations and not staying for an image. It may not be as "unfortunate" as you think.

So true.  Look at how Letoya Luckett's soon to be ex-fuck boy was cheating on her while pregnant with their son.  Kudos to Kween and Letoya for knowing how to leave bad relationships.

She could have settled a long time ago and end up paying alimony and child support to a fuck boy like so many celeb women.  She obviously knows her worth.

Hm... I mean a lot of things perhaps

Brandy seems to be a hopeless romantic. Queen gets some attention from a man and sees wedding bells in the distance. However, I don't think she's a woman willing to sit through BS like a lot of her peers have and do. Brandy could easily get married for the sake of just saying she is. I mean she's been engaged twice so clearly that isn't the issue. It's not like she's missing out on much though

Relationships don't guarantee happiness. Never have never will. It's normal to want companionship but there are benefits in being single as well. In Brandy's case, I feel she can use this time focus on those who truly love her and not some man. Get a little dick from time to time maybe get a dildo mess and call it a day. Men are trouble. I honestly wouldn't blame her if she said she'll never be with a man ever again and will stay celibate for life.
