Sorry, Meghan was must see tv for me. And my last reason to continue with the view. She's very entertaining. I don't have to agree with her views to enjoy her. It is called the view and the panel should not be full of people who view all things the same. And I never understood why everybody else wanted her off the show; different points of Views make the most fascinating television. Same goes for reality tv I. E. Eva on housewives, as soon as she became a colorist it was off with her head, she's boring, she's a lying etc. yet we want REAL-ity.
because you look at it as a reality show, which it is not. theres a difference between people having different points of view (something that the view was long before megan arrived) and someone who is ignorant, defensive, and rarely speaks based on FACT. she was there strictly because of her last name and her presence on the show very regularly derailed fact-based and informative conversations. she is also part of the republican apologist brigade. and on top of that, the other hosts werent even lashing her back anymore. just letting her be disrespectful, loud, and WRONG. so those girls that watch the view for the right reasons-- to be informed (the reason the show was created for) yea theyre ecstatic about this. for the gors that just wanted drama... yall will get over it. love & hip hop returns soon.
Firstly, I would like to say that you're accurate. I do believe The best television can educate and entertain at the same time though, the view has done it many of times. I know exactly why Meghan was hired, those ratings shrunk after Elizabeth left, the audience wasn't connecting with the musical chairs of host they were hiring, and they most importantly stop making headlines.
I would be lying if I said I watched the view from episode one, I have been a viewer since Star was on the panel and we all due respect; I do not believe the view would have lasted this long without the drama and becoming a big part of pop culture. Talk shows in general are a wasteland imho. With all that said, I'm eager to see what's next since they're moving away from politics.
And for the record I haven't watch love and hip hop in a very long time.
