there should be an age requirement introduced at these types of events

the way this whole "astroworld" thing was presented/marketed didn't help either
....all the graphics, the theme park feel to the concept, i can totally see kids wanting to go

and maybe the parents feeling OK bringing them there because on the surface it gives such a jovial, fun vibe

but there's def a feeling of darkness in there as well which really showed its ass at that festival.
this cover always gave me a juxtaposed tea...kinda crazy how it's actually played out in real life.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Which is obviously intentional on his part

:omf:

the industry is SICK

Astroworld was a real theme park in Houston. It was a Six Flags mess.

That's why it has that vibe.
Yeah astroworld is a real thing - he used it as part of his concept

And the juxtaposition is crazy

it literally looks like those parents and kids are walking into the pits of hell on that cover . As the other kids jump happily with popcorn in their hands
!!!!!!!!!!!

NOTHING about that image looks friendly or inviting to me

:plzstop:

It literally looks like a Stephen King tea and this wasn't a Halloween themed festival, so

its a very clever cover .

I think when a lot of people think "evil/darkness" , super obvious things come to mind . Dark clouds, mean looking characters , GRRRRR!! etc

And the artwork used is twisted.
Yall remember the pale demon thing from that movie "Pans Labyrinth"? The demon with its eyes in his palms that ate children? :dead:
He had that image put in his shows
It's a weird creepy juxtaposition between something that was originally meant for children to have a good time and hell
Who comes up with shit like that as music art? :plzstop:

I think for the cover LaChapelle is a big influence. He's always had this weird darkness in there but it's actually very intriguing art to me. However...it is supposed to be fiction for entertainment. Not a real life event where people lose lives of course.

People use movie/horror references, illuminati type of imagery, occult all the time in art. I would take it with a grain of salt because nine out of ten times people just want to be edgy for fiction. Just like Dismaland, the theme park by Banksy. If you read the context it's satire and criticism on capitalism. People use darkness all the time to tell a story.

Not children with popcorn at an amusement park. The cover is very slick but I clocked tea from the moment I saw it. It immediately came back to my mind once I saw the news of a child actually losing their life in this astrworld mess.

Not saying this is some well thought out plan or anything cuz that would be a stretch but it's just .... creepy af
!!!!!

omg.  Like ... no matter what, this shit is spooky as hell.  I can't get the video out of my mind of Travis literally looking at the dead body and continuing to sing, hum and chant in that very peculiar way.  Very strange

I believe all of this but many Artists are used and exploited in ways they aren't even fully aware of. Many of them are idiots and think of it is "oh wow! Looks cool! Let's do it LOL" and have no idea what they're signing up for. I don't doubt any aspect of your post, i just think there's also no need to take anything with a grain of salt.

Somtimes things are a reach, sure, but, often times there's more to the mess and a method behind the edginess, whether the Artist is fully aware or otherwise.

Don't think it's a coincidence they did this ritual while Kylie pregnant either

I've always belived in demons, spirits etc, but not to the extant yall do sdsaf when it comes to celebrities
Like when yall call Beyonce a literal witch just because she wore some Orisha pieces on her head a few times or when the girls really think Azealia is an incarnate of Yemaya because she likes and lives by the Yemaya imagery  :dead:

I believe in them but not when it comes to these celebrities
Although some do be having dark ass energy looming over them

I think posting pics of injured fans is the real darkness we should be scared of. And organizing concerts and selling too many tickets without spending money on safety. Greed is the biggest demon in my eyes.

!!!
I don't think we'd be discussing all these secondary things if people hadn't died at the concert.
We'd probably would've been like oh look.. another rapper being WEIRD! and went about our day.

No ma'am

What happened is horrible and there needs to be accountability, but I don't necessarily think it was some satanic mess.

The whole walking into the clown's mouth at the amusement park thing has been around for ages. He's just playing on that IMO.

"See you on the other side" is a fairly common phrase. One could take it as a satanic mess, but it could also mean getting fucked up (drugs/alcohol). One of my friends uses it as a way of saying goodnight.

I could be wrong, but I don't think it's that deep.
