it's once again time to celebrate this amazingly selfless, intelligent, charismatic, fearless, stunningly handsome king . 

the closest thing we actually have to "jesus". say his got damn name, and i need to hear every syllable

i'll be hosting a soul food dinner on his bday weekend to honor him with the gorls ...and what an honor it is to do it here in the A, where it all began for our king with the church he once led just minutes away.

it's not just a day off from work...it's a chance to honor someone who paid the ultimate cost just so i could possibly have a better life and more opportunities decades down the line.  it's super personal for me. as it should be for all of us.
