Fav video of all time.

I love the whole white jumpsuit look with the hair pulled back.
It was kind of a different look for her and I lived when I saw it.

Wearing the hair like this really showed off her pretty face.

Wasnt Aaiyah's album flopping until she died?

YES AND BAD. I brought that up in my response. Sis was doing horrible number and so was every new R&B female singer being released that year besides Alicia Keys. So I can see her management coming up with a scheme to sell records as the usual promotion wasn't working. She probably hate Britney and Christina for all their success + international coverage. Aaliyah was also very local, thats why ppl compare her to Janet, as Janet was local as well. Janet never broke through worldwide like Whitney Houston did.

The only thing HIVea breakin through are the seams of a pair of XXL capri pants

I dont know why ya'll responding to that.

Even if the comments about locality or flopping or hyping were true, none of that has anything to do with timeless music, which is what the thread is about.
