I dont HATE the song, but those 2 songs just mess up the flow of the album for me. Which is my biggest issue with the album. 13 amazing songs, but the sequencing is all wrong. Whoever did the track listing is trash for that. After I Tried, Where U Wanna Be and Focus, Sadiddy and Turn It Up next? Dem cheesy pep rally 'give ma ppl somethin to shake they butts' songs, shoulda been left off. They sound like mixtape songs. And then right after it, going into Necessary. A mess. IF Sadiddy gonna be on the album, put it next to Come As U Are. Lyrically and sonically, it would make more sense. I think where Sadiddy is on the album makes me dislike it even more.

The hate for "Turn it Up" is so uncalled for. There is ZERO wrong with that track (except maybe her diction).

But "Saddidy" may possibly be Brandy's absolute worst song (on an official release)

Its a mixtape song that should've been left as a mixtape song. Its very out of place on the album.

Turn It Up and Sadiddy remind me of those rap songs she started doing like Hot Shot and Vibrant Thing. They dont belong on the same album as How I Feel, Necessary, Focus and Should I Go.

I sorta have to agree. I love it, but coming from how prestine NSN and Full Moon were, and how it flowed seamlessly throughout, Afrodisiac took a minute to grow on me. Had to get used to her new tone (we went from When U Touch Me vocals to I Tried and Sadiddy vocals) and the songs were really kinda all over the place. Vocally, Afrodisiac is my least fave Brandy album too.

The highs of Afrodisiac album make up for the lows. Most of the songs are amazing records. The best 10 songs on Afro are better than the best 10 on Human, Two Eleven and B7 for me. Despite the flaws, its still VERY good.
