It's barely ever JUST something like "dice" that causes someone to lose their life
It is conflict ... conflict can happen anywhere . People at an Ariana concert can experience it , or people playing spades ... all it takes is malicious intent and/or people who with uncontrollable tempers
Someone was killed at a subway restaurant "over just a sandwich". What started off as someone putting too much mayo on someone's sandwich ... turned into a heated argument in which Neither party chose to back down or walk away. And ultimately ended in gunfire and death of the employee.
Of course it's more sensational and interesting to say "she was killed over a sandwich!" but there were some things that occurred between the extra mayo being on the sandwich and a gun being drawn.
And I'm sure something happened here as well . It's ultimately still senseless violence but I'd be careful in reducing it to a "just"
Situation ... in doing so, people may miss a lesson of just walking away sometimes .
It's ok to back down . Self control is true strength . Peoples constant need to prove how tough they are and this "imma have the last say in this... at any cost lolz" attitude is the real problem.
The smallest things will ALWAYS have potential to explode . I keep that in mind whenever I'm out and about and everyone else should as well. You don't know who you're bumping without saying excuse me , or cutting in front of at the grocery store line . And more importantly, where their mind is at .
