it was a lot better/more civilized than i thought it would be

everyone (except that one african guy who clearly needs to do a bit more research on the facts of AA history so he'll have a better foundation for his opinions) seemed to be empathetic and open

i can barely stand when african-americans talk shit about african-americans
let alone outsiders.

if u dont have anything nice or highly constructive to say about us
and i mean HIGHLY constructive (not shade under the guise of being constructive) to say.....
