"It's gonna be a yes for sure," Rowland responded when asked if she will be working on a new album – her first body of work since 2021's 'K' EP.

Despite resident ET anchor Deidre Behar pressing the Destiny's Child alum for the yet-titled effort's tentative release date, Kelly managed to keep it mums.

"I'm not saying anything," she said smiling. "I don't think it's fair when I say something then I don't fulfill it because something comes up, whether it's life or a movie. I'd rather just surprise [the fans]: the people who have consumed and listened and supported my music for 20-plus years. I want to surprise them. I think they deserve that."

The quote came shortly after the 42-year-old opted not to confirm if the next set with be R&B-based or Dance-based like her hits 'Commander,' 'When Love Takes Over,' and 'Down For Whatever.'
