i honestly think the only thing brat is truly guilty of is not thinking before she spoke.

like really think about what the optics of u saying a black person was too ugly so u chose the white one....would look like

what she said is like GOLD for blogs to run with creative and messy titles.

brat doesn't strike me as someone who is anti-black so i think she was just making a joke, there is def a proven shortage of black male donors, and maybe the one black guy she saw was indeed super unattractive to her and i believe it may have had nothing to do with him just being black.

its just the optics. but im glad the gorls are calling her owt on it

anything that even smells like blatant anti-blackness shouldn't go unchecked.

don't matter who's saying it and what their intent is. let em know why its not a good look.

I don't even like Brat but I don't believe she was being/is anti-black. I do believe that they preferred a black donor but they def didn't want an ugly one no matter the race.

Her sister IS Lisa Raye, tho, who has a history of being colorist. I don't k ow if they grew up in the same household but it's interesting.

If she kept it factual ... as in saying "there's a shortage of black donors so I was kinda forced to choose a white donor although I preferred to have a black one ".

Instead of "the black one was ugly ... looked like a creature so we went with someone white lol"

Huge difference . She chose to spice the story up with a joke about the black guys looks so she's getting a spicy response and black people telling her that she woulda been better off keeping the story to herself. Which is clearly good advice considering how it's been received
