But the same gorls never fail to say "happy Memorial Day weekend!" Or "happy thanksgiving weekend!"
Im very intentional in not replying in the same way, or swiftly coming behind someone who announces "happy long weekend everyone !" with "happy MLK weekend everyone !" . And I really don't care if someone feels a way about it .
It's not a "long weekend". Let's be clear. It's MLK weekend.
There's no reason not to recognize that when it's a recognized fucking holiday .as in , the entire reason you have the day off.
