there's a "response" segment afterwards where they have a lil roundtable mess to discuss the interview

"how do u think he answered the question about only dating white women?"

"he didn't answer it . he just started babbling about how he donated money to housing projects and the united negro college fund  :shannonsmissing:  "

"hes in the twilight zone." :omgwatshappening:

this is not what i was expecting. BET wasn't playing games with him
i always thought black media welcomed him with open arms after the verdict , thats kinda the narrative that was in the "made in america" special i watched about him

but the gorls clearly didn't forget his "i aint black, im OJ" antics . and low key held his feet to the fuckin fire for it

Ulysses

I love that in 2023, we can say this guy is guilty, but HATE we weren't saying it when this was happening.

u gotta remember cops just got away with beating rodney king damn near to death and there was a lot of uproar and sadness about it

plus, the prosecution definitely made mistakes in the trial.
introducing the glove that didn't fit...

and the prosecution's decision to include mark furhman was undoubtedly one of the biggest fumbles in the history of trials

especially considering the LAPD was still under fire for rodney king

honestly if i were on that jury at the time i probably woulda voted not guilty too, even if i thought he did it. which i do think he did.

they had an ABUNDANCE of reasons to let him go free.
both emotional and logical

the prosecution cannot say that they did a stellar job and didn't drop the ball.
but the defense definitely did and can.
