I'm sure a lot of those people in an uproar have laughed at "inappropriate" jokes before

But what really puzzles me is how people always focus on how dumb and stupid the woman is for being easily manipulated , while the man who actually did the manipulation goes completely unscathed in the conversation.

Even though the woman is the actual victim, all the responsibility for what happened is placed on her

I'm sure I've been guilty of looking at things that way before but it's kinda fucked up when you really think about it. We truly live in a "patriarchal society".

yeah we have all laughed at inappropriate jokes for sure. the issue is, Charla has said many things over the years, that he shouldnt have said in a public forum. His opinion holds weight. He is also on this, "holier than tho" peace and love for all kick. Talking about he isnt the same person he used to be 10 years ago aka the shock jock ( like talking about what brandys mouth game is like when she was technically a teen, when brandy is thicker he asked ray j and princess was she pregnant, making lil mama cry, sniffing j los chair after she sat in it, his love for ed shereen, but willing to drag black artists up and down the george washington bridge). its just a bit ... much imo


ALSO Jess is one to talk about anyones looks. looking like the crypt keeper mixed with the alien from the movie Signs and charla aint ever been cute. idc if his face is clear now or not.

i honestly dont get the point of sitting there talking about that woman's looks

they dont seem to know anything about her other than she was manipulated by a man

if anything , if she's considered an undesirable "big back" maybe the people calling her that should be more understanding of why she is more likely to be targeted for certain things, and more "thirsty" for love.

like i said the man should be held accountable, but they walked right past him just so they could get to the woman and tell her about her "big back" and "thirst".
