Is every move a strategy for longevity in her career, of course. But longevity no longer equates to record sales, it is how one caters and appeals to their target audience. Bey knows her audience. Hence the gems of Black Is King, Homecoming, The Lion King: The Gift... did she necessarily get numbers, maybe not, however her consumer base is satisfied.
