I live in Miami, and this is the norm.  It's been this way for years. Everyone knows Hialeah (Where this happened) is nothing but Cubans.  All the signs are in Spanish, so this person was looking for trouble

I live in Miami, and this is the norm.  It's been this way for years. Everyone knows Hialeah (Where this happened) is nothing but Cubans.  All the signs are in Spanish, so this person was looking for trouble 

taco bell is a huge American chain store though, founded by an english speaking American

not some authentic, small mom and pop mexican restaurant

it's as inauthentic and corporate as it gets. the equivalent of stopping at mickey dee's.

considering that....i'd say it's reasonable to expect if you stop at a taco bell, regardless of location in America, they will speak english - at least enough to process ur order
