This is the best footage I've seen from that day. The initial shock of the first plane hitting, followed by the sheer horror when the second one hit. I feel SICK.

i feel bad for the ppl who were old enough to actually fully understand wtf was going on that day

When ur a child you kinda don't understand the real danger and driving forces behind events

I just knew someone flew planes into a building and we had to go home early. But I knew there was chaos

And I remember my grandfather FUMING at the news/updates  as it came in (culprits being identified etc)

 I always thought those buildings were full of nothing but computers. Ndndndndn  I was terrified when I found out it was legit a small city in there with restaurants, daycares , offices and everything

The 9/11 PTSD is real. I still get nervous when I see planes that appear to be flying too low.

I couldn't imagine witnessing something like that as an adult . Truly understanding how fucked up this world is now

Crazy how it was even affecting Queens

They were pulling our public transit buses to take them to Manhattan

I can only imagine what it was like mentally for people who still had to venture into/around Manhattan to work immediately following that mess

What's crazy about this is that my office is in one of the World Trade Centers now and it was a surreal and full circle moment for me thinking bout the trauma we carry from this moment

I get shook over elevator services being down or even when helicopters or planes are too low...
