Looks like nothing special

And this isn't Tyler Perry's fault, but police shootings and the resulting legal circus go into the category of "black trauma" for me...like slavery movies. It just bothers me to watch now.

I do see there might be some twists to the story though

This movie kinda goes nowhere i will see what it gives.
I do however like this era of Tylers creativity
Hes released those shows to.other writers so he can focus on the movies and really.diving into it

He definetly wants to be remembered as someone with a few  classics under his belt

Doing period pieces
Historical pieces
Dramas
Thrillers

And the quality of his productions have improved as well
