Just because the song references fckin good and eatin at Red Lobster doesn't negate what her intentions were with this song
Y'all are just hellbent on discrediting Bey whichever way y'all can think of
How can you ascertain her intentions though, if she hasn't spoken on the song as yet? I'm going to reserve judgement on her intentions until I hear it from her, cause people sometimes read more into situations than what's actually there. Not really feeling the song, but I applaud her for the message if that was indeed her intent.
she doesn't need to speak on it. Her stance is clearly presented with the visual and song. She's sporting braids, afros, and natural hair in the video, while showcasing the drowning of a New Orleans police car, and the surrendering, hands up position of the police force. This occurs all while she boasts about the aforementioned natural hair and her flawless negro nose. It's obvious what her intentions were.
No artist needs to explain themself after releasing a project. Especially in this case, where the art is speaking for itself.
It's a pro-black song and I love ha for it.
