it's understandable why the diagnosis led to where it did
a dementia diagnosis is very serious.

 i can see the judge possibly being hesitant and not exactly giving a "oh! there's the green light! lets go!"

....it doesn't make a lot of sense that she got a diagnosis of something that doesn't usually "get better", only progressively worse, and now everything is OK.

so it makes sense that her lawyer is already making plans to push it past the judge to a jury if need be.

something's not adding up on one end or the other.

most important thing is making sure Wendy is really OK

I feel the folks that are cheering for this are cheering because they KNOW it will be messy and they LOVE messy. It's going to be terrible for her, but that actually makes me warm and fuzzy inside. So yeah, yay!
