I'm watching their performance finally.... Monica sounds like she's on an autotuned walkie talkie on Like This Like That??

yea I liked it tho.  I assume she was tryna give that effect for some reason

I was just reading some fans essentially say enough on twitter over these robotic vocals Brandy insist on pumping out.
Silent, tell her to stop pls bc it sounds so processes to our ears.

It's crazy to me that she would do this, considering it's altering so much of what she's known for, her VOICE! The TONE! We all hear the difference. Take the autotune off and just sing baby.

This!! We buy in because of the tone. Drenching it in autotune is wild. It would be akin to Nippy or Retha while they were here hiding their trademark tones.
The tone, placements, and her being an interpretive singer is why she is who she is. How can u take us for a ride by bring the lyrics and production to life and we hear autotune. She used to sculpt vocal pictures with her voice. Inflections tone changes on one song.
