This is really good but mostly because of the Brandy influence all up and through

Syrai's EP is a solid body of work. She and her team really did their thing with this project. Honestly, this sounds like the type of project I would expect from a much more seasoned artist, and that says a lot about her and her team.
Her pen game is also really strong. I can definitely see her being part of writing camps and eventually writing for other artists. She has that kind of versatility.
"Paragon" sounds like a song her mom would sing. It actually reminds me of some of the unreleased songs she did with Frank Ocean. "Stimulation" sounds like something Victoria Monét would sing, while "Swimming Pools" gives me a Kelly Rowland vibe. If those songs weren't on her EP, I could easily see her sending them to those artists' teams.
Overall, I'm really excited to see where her journey takes her. I can genuinely see her having a very successful career.

I don't know what it is, but there isn't much behind her voice. It feels so... empty. But it still sounds slightly better than expected

She has a sweet tone, but I'm not a fan of her vocal approach. It's like she sings with that LA valley girl twang. I can't explain it. I'm gonna give the EP a listen though.

I really love her harmonies. You can tell bran guided her listening to
The background vocals of some of these songs  .. Brandy still got it for sure

Justice Jackson

Stimulation and cold war could easily be on a summer walker album. She's recorded a couple of things like these already
Ketanji Jackson has come this far by faith.

Ketanji Brown will still beatcho ass.

Sy'rai's mess is good.

They're promoting it as a debut album when it's really an EP.

You clearly hear the Brandy influence but it's something about "Swimming Pools" that's giving me Victoria Monet

The EP is good and Sy'rai has some cute writing. Brandy should have her pen something on her next project.

GYNandTONIC

Been living with the EP all weekend and at a point I forgot I was listening to Brandy daughter which is a good thing. Now I'm not listening out of support, I'm listening because I actually like it.

They would be smart to really push the song writer narrative, especially because that's not what Brandy is known for. It would give her her own identity
