Joe Jonas' DNCE bandmates have no real role in the "Work" cover video aside from shaking office supplies (get it? Work references?), but they still manage to add nothing to the meaningless clip.

MTV politely mentions "Jonas and Co. have remade the tune, but with their own clever twist." However, we're with Spin on this one, who points out the group's "goofy-ass take" that is "bad and sounds like logging onto AOL in 1999 did."
The appropriation of the pop star?s dancehall roots couldn?t really come at a worse time. Rihanna?s music isn?t just ?tropical house,? a made-up white people genre, it?s a sincere connection and reflection of the Barbadian singer?s heritage and culture. Jonas adopted her distinctive wordplay as a lark. It?s not a good look.

Rihanna has cute songs but it aint something so techically difficult that somebody else cant do.
