The Room in Hollywood is cool. So is this bar called The Study.

Iono about "urban" bars cause in LA it's always a mixed crowd. Latinos, Blacks, Whites, Asians, usually go to the same places. I mean unless you're looking for bars in "urban" areas which I wouldn't recommend lol
