Authorities say a woman has been arrested at a Baton Rouge movie theater after threatening to shoot someone inside.
27-year-old Gaynell Haydel of Baton Rouge was arrested Saturday and faces charges of terrorizing, disturbing the peace and resisting an officer.
According to the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff?s Office, Haydel walked up to the ticket booth inside the Cinemark Perkins Rowe theater and said repeatedly that she was going to shoot someone.
Deputies say Haydel was unprovoked and her threats prompted some moviegoers to leave the theater.
After being escorted out of the theater by a deputy called to the scene, authorities say Haydel pushed the deputy before being handcuffed.
The incident occurred two days after a gunman killed three people, including himself, inside a Lafayette movie theater.
