My best friend's grandmother just had emergency open heart surgery and she had to rush up to NYC to see to her. (She was raised by her grandmother like me.)

Then my grandmother made me feel bad on top of that. When I told her what happened to my bestie's grandmother, she sent me on a guilt trip with "Well, who knows what you'd have to do if something happens to me....book a plane and WAIT for it, a bus, etc. Who knows! "

I was like Granny  

She is such a Cancer.

But yeah. I'd already been thinking of whether NC was the place for me to stay at. It's boring here, not much to do, quiet. I am missing my family and am missing NYC. I don't think visiting every couple months is enough anymore. I think it's time to go back home.
