I literally got chills and got teary watching this.

Bois Ca?man is the site located in the woods where Haitians gathered to begin their movement against their masters. It's highly important because this is where they prayed and mustered up the strength to move into action. Immediately after the ceremony, there were fires all over the land and the Revolution began as they attacked their oppressors, and eventually OVERTHREW them.

This is an reenactment of the Voodoo ceremony that launched the Haitian Revolution. Which is, in my opinion, the greatest act of Black Power known to man.

but there's actually a very spiritual nature to it
