China is reportedly banning Lady Gaga and censoring anything related to her likeness after time spent with the Dalai Lama. ?The really fantastic thing about kindness is that it?s free,? Gaga said during her chat with the spiritual leader, but it comes at a cost.

According to Chinese news outlet Next Media, The Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei issued a statement disapproving of Gaga?s philanthropic efforts and involving herself in Tenzin Gyatso?s Tibetan independence propaganda. It reads:

?We hope that people from the international community can be fully aware of his true colors and nature.?

The Publicity Department mirrored that sentiment, claiming an official ban goes into effect today (June 27).

?We need to fight against any propaganda fanning the flames of Tibet independence movement.?

The Dalai Lama faces scrutiny because he now advocates a ?middle way? with China, finding a middle ground for separation.

Internet users in China have already begun seeing their Gaga-related posts getting flagged and removed.

This marks the second instance where Gaga was banned from the country. In 2011, China censored her blacklisted the singer for her lyrics on Born This Way song ?Government Hooker.? That ban was eventually lifted.

Damn Gaga  :dead:

This isn't surprising. They've done the same to all other artists. She knew what she was doing.

Opposites Attract.

I'm sure she really could care less. No one really goes to China anyways.

It's unconditional, these days you know....
