Lana Del Rey doesn?t typically release a music video for an album a year after it debuts, so what?s going on?
Fans caught wind of a casting call from the songbird?s team asking for males and females who look 18-23-years-old to submit their resumes for a music video shoot taking place on June 30 and for two more days between July 5-7.
Is Lana filming a new visual for Honeymoon? All signs point to no.
Lana initially shared the album title track with fans last year, using grainy, indie-esque filmed footage to accompany it. The clips were destined for the song?s official music video, but it was never formally released because Lana felt ?nothing really happened in it.?
It?s hard to imagine Del Rey is attempting another video for the album, which means she might be readying material from her next LP(!!!).
Del Rey has a string of festival performances around the world coming up, beginning July 9 in Belgium before making her way to Russia, Switzerland, France, Greece, Monaco, Canada, the United States and Ireland through September, so perhaps the new visual will be related to that. Or both.
