Now I don't use Taylor, but is it a valid point to say, she didn't hear the full song nor the line "I Made that Bitch famous". I doubt, that had Kanye read the lyrics in full including the sentence "I made that bitch famous", that Taylor would have called it a compliment or co-signed.

I must say in this situation, Kim and Kanye really tricked her into thinking it'd be a cool reference, when in context it is a diss. I am kinda with Taylor, I can see her playing nice to the part she heard on the phone  and then being like  when she hears the song on the radio.
