QuoteBy 1993 I was pretty confused. Tevin was still dropping singles from his debut while also dropping songs from his upcoming album, I'm Ready. R&B was experiencing Tevin overload. But when the music is good you can't complain.

So Tevin was really a "focus focus" at one moment

Yes, they often referred to him as like the male Whitney as far as vocals.

I'm familiar with his music. I can't get I'm Ready out of my head so I just decide to look up his chart history. I knew he was bad but not that damn bad. He really messed up cause he was untouchable at one point.

QuoteHe says:

"I'm not gay, but there's a lot of different things that I do like, sexually. Being in the business, you are introduced to a lot of different things, I'm not gay, but I'm a freak and I think a lot of people know what a freak is."

QuoteHe and Prince reached an agreement during the sessions for "Shhh" in which Tevin recorded the song only if everyone was kicked out of the studio, the lights were shut off and the curtains were drawn.
