Fergie nonchalantly revealed some major Double Dutchess news.

The Black Eyed Peas front-woman is throwing the rulebook out the window this era. Following her fergalicious music video for the girl power anthem track "M.I.L.F. $," it appeared Fergie's comeback was in full swing, but for one reason or another her followup had stalled and the momentum she created slid into a lull. She recently released the sleepy mid-tempo feel good song "Life Goes On," which will receive a beach-themed music video any day now, but it's not the kind of glossy bop you'd expect from the pop star, but rest assured... they're coming.

In a recent interview with 104.3 My FM, Fergie confirmed the album debuts in January (she just has a couple more interludes to finish), but in a new sit-down with Music Choice, she's not only doubling down on that, she divulged several Double Dutchess track titles and admits already filming music videos for them.

?I?m hoping for ASAP. As soon as possible, I?m going for January, that?s when I?m trying,? she said of the album release. ?I?m hoping for January. You know everyone?s gotta do the holiday thing and all that but, I?m ready. Ready to let this thing into the universe.?

"Hoping for January?" Sigh.

While we still don't have a definitive release date, there's lots to look forward to. Fergie says she filmed a music video with legendary director Jonas ?kerlund for an "epic" song titled ?A Little Work,? as well as videos for tracks ?Just Like You? and ?Nothin'? (the latter of which was directed by Ben Moore; a demo version of the song leaked earlier this year).

Watch the new interviews below and rejoice:

Here's a taste of "Just Like You" from her performance at Rock in Rio earlier this year:

Just Like You sounds cute....she better fucking deliver with this long ass delayed album  :19k:

FRANCE

she needs to scrap this entire project and just reunite with BEP.

Opposites Attract.

The songs have been great tbh, I just think we're in an era where we are done with meaningless pop songs. She could've easily snatched the cat back with another Big Girls or Where Is The Love mess. Comeback with real soul music and slay Queen.

It's unconditional, these days you know....

none aside from the big 5 will sell, so labels should just release these other albums and focus on tours, videos and promo here and there.

Nine

She needs to just release another single and then the album.

Searching for a hit really won't help at all.
