No stranger to politically charged music, Madonna was approached to reimagine "Enough Is Enough" as a statement to President Donald Trump.

The Queen of Pop made headlines this week following her speech at the Women's March in DC for saying she had thought about "blowing up the White House," which she later clarified. President Trump labeled her "disgusting" and a disgrace to the nation for her rhetoric, and she might fight back through song.

According to a new report from TMZ, legendary songwriter Bruce Roberts, who wrote the No. 1 charting song "Enough is Enough" for Barbra Streisand and Donna Summer in 1979, has reached out to Madonna to cover it.

"We're told Roberts wants Madonna to rewrite and sing the lyrics, stylizing it to express disdain for Trump's policies," writes TMZ. "Our sources say Roberts doesn't want to make this a personal attack on Trump, but rather a statement that he's taking the country in the wrong direction."

They add Roberts wants Madonna to record it ASAP, and that she won't replace Streisand or Summer, but added onto it.
