But seriously , I was in school in Queens. That had to be the scariest moment of my life...just being so young and simply knowing our country was under attack.....and it happening right in my backyard riding trains to work later on in life.....and getting nervous every time the train stopped suddenly....or someone looked suspicious......ugh. those terrorists did an excellent job of shaking the shit out of this country and knocking us off our confidently secure pedestal just a bit.

I was in 5th grade home room. My teacher turned on the TV and let us see the burning towers for a minute just so that we could remember it because she said that this is something that will go down in history. Little did even she know how much of a tragedy it was...
