First episode was really good— liking it so far !

It was really dark sided. I didn't know her father not only got a 12 year old in the congregation pregnant but he's rumored to be the father of aretha's first child

I actually LOVED it. 

Cynthia didn't look or sound like Re but she had her mannerisms and shy demeanor down to a tea. It broke my heart how no one protected her as a child. Seeing that little girl on the choir stand with a baby bump was sad as fuck. Two kids by the age of 14 my God. 

And I do believe her sicko of a daddy knocked her up at age 12. He already had another12 year old baby mama by that time. Ew ew ew!!
