I plan on doing a weekly celebration of different tribes and places in Africa. Selfishly, I've decided to start with the Lemba Tribe -- whom which I most identify with since their blood is the
strongest in my veins, according to DNA facts.
Speaking of
fun facts, here's another one: The average African American has 65% African DNA. I have 81%. I'm kinda more African than your average Joe. lol Which I'm
totally content with. Only means that there's less slave rape European blood for me to totally fucking ignore. lolz.

hehe!
But anyway, back to Lemba!

The Lemba people are known as the "Black Jews of Africa". Which I found very interesting. The last thing that we'd imagine as Americans is any Africans having ties with Jewish beliefs. But this just goes to show that our history and culture in the Motherland runs deeper than what we've been taught to see it as.
